Privacy Policy

This is the personal website of Patrick Rendal Olsen. It is built to respect your privacy: there is no advertising, there are no third-party trackers, and no personal data is sold or shared.

Analytics

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. It is privacy-first and cookieless: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other websites. It records only aggregate, non-identifying information such as page URLs, referrers, and general country.

Cookies

Regular visitors are not given any cookies. The only cookie this site sets is an essential session cookie, and only if you sign in to the private admin area — which is for the site owner. Because no non-essential cookies are used, there is no cookie-consent banner.

Data you send me

If you email me, I receive whatever you put in that message and use it only to reply. The site itself has no public contact forms or sign-ups, so it does not collect your details.

Hosting

The site runs on a private server and is served through Cloudflare, which processes requests (including the cookieless analytics described above) on my behalf.
